Music – songs that I couldn’t live without

This is a small list of some of my very favorites. For your enjoyment 😀

-Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, and in fact the entire Wish You Were Here album has, in my opinion, the greatest of their songs all in one. If I could only listen to 1 album the rest of my life this would probably be it.
-When The Levee Breaks, Thank You, Ramble On, all by Led Zeppelin (Thank You = me & my honey’s song!)
-Love Interruption by Jack White
-A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum
-Gimme Shelter, Sympathy for the Devil, Can’t You Hear Me Knocking, all by The Rolling Stones
-Last Dance with Mary Jane by Tom Petty
-Cocaine by Eric Clapton
-I’m on Fire by Bruce Springsteen, however I love the cover done by Kate Tucker
-Old Man by Neil Young and the remake by Redlight King (in fact the only remake Neil ever approved of)
-Just Breathe by Pearl Jam
– Free Bird by Lynrd Skynrd – best guitar solo. EVER.
– Simple Man by Shinedown (Lynrd Skynrd cover, the singer has an amazingly powerful voice and does this song great justice)
-Almost anything that CCR has done, especially Fortunate Son
-Fat Bottom Girls by Queen
-Black Magic Woman by Santana (one of the sexiest songs of all time. Go Carlos.)
-Lots of Metric’s older songs
